EtherLoops Afterglow is a bank of 60 ambient presets for Arturia Pigments: glowing pads, slow granular atmospheres, deep drones, soft keys and bells, gentle arps, Berlin-school and dub sequences, expressive leads and round basses. Every preset was built, played and hand-tweaked in a real track context: darker filters you open up with a knob, a quieter airy layer an octave above, slow free-running movement, warm saturation and effects already dialled in.

The signature layers come from EtherLoops' own material: 14 EtherLoops pad, drone and particle recordings and 6 tables from EL Organic Wavetables Vol. 1, all embedded in the bank. The rest uses Pigments' own factory engines and content, so there is nothing extra to install.

Four macros on every preset

Timbre: tone and character (wavetable position, drive, resonance, layer blend)
Filter: opens a deliberately dark sound up to bright
Motion: the movement inside the sound; on most presets the speed of the slow modulation
Space: from close and dry to a wide echo, shimmer and reverb wash

The macros ship at their sweet spot, not at zero. Mod wheel, aftertouch and velocity are mapped on every preset, and each preset's description says what they do.

Played, not just programmed

16-voice polyphony on pads and keys, so long chord tails never cut off
Basses and leads glide smoothly without the clicks of mono mode
Slow, free-running LFOs: the sound keeps drifting the way ambient music should

Faded Polaroid: a vintage poly pad with detuned saws, JUN-6 chorus and worn tape echo
Golden Hour: gentle additive tables an octave apart, slow and glowing

Glass FM: Harmonic-engine FM keys with a soft mallet transient
Poly Memory: vintage poly-synth keys, two saws, soft filter pluck and chorus
Toy Lullaby: a music box doubled by a toy piano, warm and slightly detuned
Velvet Rhodes: a sampled e-piano with a sine underlay, JUN-6 chorus and gentle tremolo
Warm Vibes: a vibraphone with slow motor tremolo, chorus and a soft room

Bells (2)

Harbour Bells: a struck modal bell over a shimmering Harmonic-engine layer
Sansula Rain: a sampled sansula with a quiet resonance and ping-pong echo

Arps (4): they play only the notes you hold

Amber Steps: a gentle 8th-note arp on an organic table, with a few skipped steps
Bell Cascade: a modal bell arpeggio across two octaves
Celesta Spiral: a celesta arp rising up and down with a soft echo
Kalimba Embers: a kalimba arp, gentle and organic

Sequences (6): hold one note; the scale is in the name

Dub Stab (Any Key): a dub-techno fifths stab on the offbeats, deep echo and chorus
Glass Ladder (Dorian): a soft-tone table climbing a Dorian ladder over two octaves
Kosmische Run (Any Key): Berlin-school 16ths on analog saws
Neon Corridor (Minor): a table sequence in natural minor with a long dotted echo
Night Drive (Minor): a synthwave octave bassline with delay and phaser
Pulse Garden (MinPenta): rounded plucks walking a minor-pentatonic pattern with probability skips

Leads (8)

Clarinet Haze: a soft, woody bass-clarinet lead with slow vibrato
Dusk Horn: a French horn doubled by a soft analog saw, a warm cinematic line
Ocarina Hill: a sampled ocarina with gentle glide, delayed vibrato and a long hall
Saw Horizon: a wide unison-saw lead, bright but softened
Scream Arc: a driven, wide wavetable lead for big moments
Sunset Solo: an analog saw lead with glide and a delayed vibrato
Vapor Poly: a polyphonic analog lead for melodies and chords
Wooden Whistle: a breathy wooden-flute lead with soft glide

Basses (6)

Cassette Low: a gritty lo-fi bass through tape and soft bit-crush
Deep Ember: a round, deep sub with a soft analog edge
Dub Floor: a deep dub sub with a quiet fifth
Round Line: a warm, round bass line, an octave deep
Rubber Dusk: a squelchy bass for psybient lines
Synthwave Pulse: a classic synthwave saw bass with sub

Install

Unzip the download.
In Pigments, open the main menu (☰) → Import, and choose EtherLoops Afterglow PG.pgtx.
The bank appears under Sound Banks → EtherLoops Afterglow PG.
